The Fife Brook section of the Deerfield River offers the most popular rafting trip in Massachusetts, featuring Class I & II rapids leading up to the Class III Zoar Gap Rapid. This adventure is perfect for families, friends, school groups, and scout outings. Guests are advised to bring appropriate clothing such as synthetic materials, wetsuits, and river booties, as well as secured shoes and any necessary medications. Parking is available near Crazy Horse Bar and Grill. Rates for the rafting trip vary depending on the day, with weekday prices at $95 per person, Saturdays at $110, and Sundays at $105. One person rides for free with every 12 guests booked. The approximate duration of the trip is 3.5 hours, with pre-trip requirements including the ability to wear a helmet and PFD, follow instructions, paddle in rapids with rests, and remain calm and oriented in the water. Confirmation letters contain important information, and any additional questions can be directed to the office. For a full Berkshire East Mountain Resort experience, guests can enjoy snacks at The Backyard before their trip, and a meal and beverage at The Crazy Horse Bar & Grill upon return. The resort also offers the Thunderbolt Mountain Coaster, a thrilling combination of an alpine slide and roller coaster. This adventure is a great way to start or end a day at Berkshire East Resort. Your payment method will be charged a damage deposit of USD 0.00 24h prior to your rental. Pending any damages, the damage deposit will be returned 48h post rental.
