Adult Humpback Whales, measuring 40'-45' in length and weighing approximately 2000 lbs per foot, migrate to Hawaiian waters each winter to breed and give birth. Hawaii is the only place in the U.S. where these incredible animals breed, calve, and nurse their young, making whale watching in Hawaii a unique and unforgettable experience. With an estimated 4,000-5,000 Humpback Whales visiting Hawaiian waters each winter, guests on the boat tour will have the opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures up close. During the tour, a knowledgeable marine naturalist will provide information about the behavior of the Whales, while guests can listen to their mesmerizing songs using an underwater hydrophone. Guests are advised to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a light jacket or sweatshirt, and a camera to capture the unforgettable moments.
